I believe that healthy relationships are at the core of positive and fulfilling human experiences, and that past wounds and protective patterns often keep us from reaching for the authentic connection we long for.
The focus of my practice is working with adult individuals and couples to help them recognize their needs and strengths in order to solve problems and build stronger relationships.
Whether you are interested in individual or couple therapy, I embrace a family systems perspective, which means I consider people's strengths and challenges in context of the relationships in which they live, work and play. The benefit of this approach is that it takes into account the impact external systems have on our lives, and also expands the resources available for wellness and healing.
My approach to therapy is client-centered and multi-faceted, but my foundation is rooted in Attachment Theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), in which I have advanced training. The cornerstone of both modalities is to help clients explore and befriend their inner world in order to cultivate greater capacity to authentically connect with themselves and others.
